Isa saver or Esavings

Options
Am clueless about savings accounts etc and was confused when reading throw them but set up a esavings account because the isa saver was asking for a national insurance but now my partner says the isa saver would of gave me more interest but am only putting £50 a month in it for the new ps4 and am closing the account after brought this year ? So don't think it's worth setting up a isa but when I check my savings account after putting money in it when I click mini statement - Sorry, but we can't show you some recent transactions as your name wasn't on the account when these transactions were processed , this comes up why ? And the difference between isa and esavings thanks and hope this makes senses kind of rushed it thanks anyway

The interest on a cash isa is always tax free.
You would be eligible for tax free interest on the esaver only if you were a non-taxpayer- you would have needed to complete an R85 form for the interest to be paid tax free.

Incidentally, what is the problem with providing an NI number?

This is a bit of a puzzle - you say that you opened this account?

what interest does the esaver pay? Before tax and after tax?
what interest rate does the ISA saver pay (there is no tax)?

    ISA is tax free.
Esaver is not. (unless you register as a non-tax-payer)

    To be honest, since
    a) you seem to have already opened the esaver and
    b) the amount of £ is so small
It is hardly worth switching for a few pennies extra interest
