Loan taken out online with stander-ppi?

Hi,
I've just found out that a loan I took out with santander in 2008 had ppi on it. I contacted them to ask if there had been ppi just on a whim and was told that the loan did include ppi.
When I called santander, they said that the loan was taken out online so i had agreed to the ppi of my own free will, however I'm sure that I did apply for the loan online but was only given a quote and then had to call a hot line and also fill out paper work (which I no longer have)
I vaguely remember the person on the phone at the time of taking the loan strongly advising me to have ppi, but I'm sure I refused it.
Should I peruse the complaint as I honestly don't remember agreeing to it, and is that an acceptable reason to complain?

It is but it's a weak one. Unles there's a recording of your phone call and you were actually advised to have it, your complaint may fail, or it might succeeed with an auto payout.
Up to you.Non me fac calcitrare tuum culi0 -
