  • My work hours change around quite a bit so I usually fit comping around whatever I am working that week (I sometimes do mornings/sometimes afternoons). Housework/chores seem to be fitted around comping these days! :o
I like to try to get any new comps that are ending that day done first thing and see if there is anything good on the freebies page.
When ever I can I will check back to see if any more have been added. Then I will do any ending the next day or a few days ahead...
Postie seems to come at 11.30 ish so if I'm at home I'm usually listening out for him at this time. If I'm at work I'm usually thinking I wonder if there will be anything good waiting for me when I get home?
When comping I always have my e-mails open at the same time so I can check any messages as I receive them(hoping for a WEM!) I also delete any rubbish at the same time so I don't get too many e-mails building up.
I usually spend a few hours a day comping. I also have the tv on if I'm home by myself as I like a bit of background noise (company?). There's usually a cup of tea by my side (going cold as I get distracted!), colourful furry socks on my feet (I feel the cold in my feet!) and 2 fluffy bunnies hopping around the floor- 2 year old Peanut & now 12 week old Pumpkin (who I'm currently trying to toilet train!) :D
I either sit at the table or on the sofa with my laptop on a chair in front of me. In the evening if my partner is on his computer, I do a few more comps and check again for any WEMs! :) So that's my usual comping day! Sorry for waffling on!

Funny how we are all so different! I hate quiet - I have to have my tv on from the moment I wake until the moment I go to bed - I bet I only sit and actually watch 1-2 hours a day, and that is usually during the evening when the soaps are on and the news. It is like company for me, even though I have my pets with me through the day. My pup sits on my knee or by my side - she is a right 'lap dog'!

I love my 'cosies' on though - if I go out I get ready of course, but as soon as I get back and through the door, off go my shoes and coat and on go my cosies! Then I make myself a latte and settle down with my laptop. :)
