Does anyone know when the PS4 will be released?

Will it be a worldwide release or will Europe as usual have to wait a long time?

    "Holiday 2013" is the official word for the US. Prob early 2014 for us.

    Yep, Christmas 2013 for US. Maybe they will try and push ahead for Europe as well though, Sony will be really keen to get a foothold in the new console race - I'm sure we can expect an XBox announcement from Microsoft in the near future.

    Sony and the entire gaming industry don't have the cajones - they may try to harness the profit - but not stop it.

    Sony havent even decided what the thing will look like yet, so I doubt they have started to make them, let alone got a release date. Ive read a lot of November/December in US and Japan and January/Feb in Europe rumours. but it's just rumours... In all honesty, Sony only unveiled a controller last week and nothing else really! Next week we get to see the power supply!
