Hi,
I have offered to sort out PPI complaints for my MIL but am not sure how I go about claiming for catalogues she's had for decades, or for her current overdraft, & if they'll cancel the overdraft (she doesn't want that).
Do I fill out the banking PPI form (the same one for loans & credit cards?) or do I approach it differently?
Also, on her credit report there's a "credit/store card" with HBOS Preference Accounts & she can't remember who/what it is- any ideas?
Thanks in advance
Thought I'd add who the accounts are with in case it helps:
Fashion World
Very/Littlewoods
Ace
Ambrose Wilson
Creation Finance (Alders card)
Overdraft is with Natwest
Also, with store cards (M&S, Evans, Burtons)- do I send them the PPI form or the banks that actually control the card, if you know what I mean?
Reclaiming unfair catalogue charges (under the consumer credit act) is essentially the same as reclaiming unfair credit card charges.
Follow the MSE guide to reclaiming credit card charges, making revisions for the fact it was a catalogue company credit agreement as required.
