Full and final payment Barclaycard

Hi I've missed two payments, negotiated with Barclaycard. I can scrap together next months payment and will be in a situation later to pay a lump sum off the card. Will Barclaycard entertain a full and final settlement on the balance?

No....I doubt very much, unless you miss several payments, then Barclaycard would issue you with a default, your credit rating will be trashed for the next 6 years.....0

I would doubt it. Its rare that a creditor would consider a reduced F&F settlement unless there is a default recorded on the debt and even then only if they think it is their best chance of recovering on the debt.A smile enriches those who receive without making poorer those who giveor "It costs nowt to be nice"0

I agree with Tixy, it's unlikely you would get any success unless you have fallen badly behind and defaulted. Otherwise we could all miss a few payments and get our debts reduced - would be nice! Good luck anyway, you might be one of the lucky ones.0
