outside toilet/shed conversion

Hi there,
Wondering if anyone has any advice or knows on who would complete a conversion for me for an outdoor toilet. I live in a victoria terrace which is modernised however I still have an enclosed outdoor toilet which is useless and unsightly. Does anyone know if it would be easy to convert this into a shed for furniture/tools which can be locked/secured.
How much would this be priced at if I got the work done?
Would I need a specialised builder for this?
any help is greately appreciated.
Dave

The very least you would need to do is to remove the toilet, block up the waste, remove the cistern and isolate the water supply.
If the door open inwards then simply change it to open outwards and put a hasp on it.
I suspect you would not pay more than around £100 to get the toilet removed and the drain and services capped off - subject to seeing the job. However this is quite an easy DIY job. Most plumbers merchants will sell you a cap for the drain and the necessary to isolate the water. Or you could utilise the water supply to provide an outside tap if you don't already have one.
If you're near East Cornwall I'll come and have a look at this for youBehind every great man is a good womanBeside this ordinary man is a great woman£2 savings jar - now at £3.42:rotfl:0 -
thank you for the advice. I will probably get it done professionally as the roof will probably need re-securing and the inside walls tidying up. Also the door opens outwards but is not of a standard size and so this will need fixing and securing also. Unfortunately Im not in Cornwall - Im in Lancashire!
Would I just get a standard builder to quote me bearing in mind that the majority of the skilled work will be from a builder0
