Could not have come at the worst time, have no money and in process of moving so was going to use it to take what I can to new house.
I had it in pocket and leaned over and it caught and bent and snapped.
How long do replacements take?(scotland)

If it is the smart-card version, You may still be able to use it, If the chip on the card is not damaged.0

Don't know where you are in Scotland, but in Dundee the National Express policy is for the bus driver to take a faulty card from you & issue you with a weekly pass to tide you over. I don't know about other bus companies' procedures, perhaps give your local one a call & ask?
Get your application in for a new one asap, it usually takes a bit longer than a week to get a replacement.0 -
I'm in Strathclyde and always get them within 10 days. You can get a 7 day ticket but I'm not sure if a driver would give one to a snapped card - I thought it was for cards with a damaged chip.
ETA if you've got a decent amount of time left on it you can just phone and ask for a replacement, you don't need a new application unless you've moved outside your old council area.0 -
Right, was given a 7 day pass but the phone line closed early friday so just worried about after the end of the week, do you know if they get another?
I live in Strathclyde, could I go into the SPT office at Buchanan Station and get another?0 -
It's an external company that do the printing so the Buchanan street office can't print one but they can order one if you pop in.
As to the bus ticket, this doesn't help on the train or subway so remember to take the broken old card if you're wanting your 80p fare.0
