Simple story is this, I was lied to (or at least given wrong information) about my account, I phoned up to cancel it over a month ago and the service went off on the day agreed however they have charged me for another month, I assumed this was last months bill so paid it to find it was for NEXT month, then they used my card details without permission to charge me for a early disconnection charge for line rental despite having been with them for internet and phone since May 2010!
This has made me £19.80 overdrawn at bank and flagged a charge which has come at the worse time as I have just been signed off so getting final JSA paymetn which is under £100 and need to find cash to move house in 2 weeks! So I have nothing till next Wednesday, then about £90 to last 2-4 weeks AND find money to move.
Really shaking.

Debit/ credit card payment or current account via monthly direct debit or both? It's your responsibility to cancel direct debits and standing orders, just log in to your online banking.
Do a chargeback with your bank, they should cancel the overdraft fees too, and write a letter of complaint to Sky.
