Travelodge Barcelona (Nr Beach) fr 21E per night!

Hi

Just thought I'd let you know about a new Travelodge opening in Barcelona. Just booked 3 nights in August at 21E per night. Its only 5mins from the beach.

For those of you on a budget or don't mind budget. Other dates are available for the same price of 21E so could make a cheap break if you could factor in some cheap flights.

I originally planned to book Novotel, but couldn't pass this deal by....

The other one in Barcelona doesn't get very good reviews at all, hope the hotel directions are more accurate for this one .

Yes that's the one.....I'll take my chances. I think it should be pretty good. Much nearer to the centre than the other one. Did A bit of research of the area before booking an seems ok.

We have used the other one and it was fine but location is best for the conference center and you need to research the transport.

Good cheap base and for precruise 1 night is fine we did a 3 night €15pn and managed ok, one day was to Mottserat which was very handy as the trian station is the right one.

Short walk to the europa via train station 10mins to the center and there are buses that go past the hotel. Good supermarket/mini mall not far.

I guess it's a good price if you can get it, but if the map location is indeed correct then it's a fair distance from any of the action in Barca, probably walkable if necessary although it looks like there are metro stops not too far away. I'd still rather pay for something with a bit of character in a good location though.

It's quite reasonable actually.....obviously right in the centre it's gonna be pricey, but even 10mins out the prices are reasonable .

Go for it it's lovely and you won't regret it. Went on my own in 2011, this time I'm going with the kids. Check trip advisor barcelona forum for questions and info...(use the search facility) .http://www.tripadvisor.co.uk/ShowForum-g187497-i44-Barcelona_Catalonia.html

as usual with travelodge, this place will be great whilst its new-ish but will become unbearable after a while!!
