Pinterest and other photo sites are a must for this category.
Free traffic is great but paid speeds up momentum so have a look into fb ads and sponsored stories.
instead of just selling items sell solutions eg. if you are selling a cake tin for a silly examples why not promote them via some recipes defo youtube videos demonstrating your product in a useful creative way. Its all about education, there are many places that sell homewares but not many who provide solutions and innovation ideas that your products can be used for to make your life easier.

To further add to the above there is one thing you are not considering. It takes years to get a decent earning capacity from a website. I set up mine in April last year and it is only the last few months it is paying for itself, and that is with building a business on Ebay and putting a discount card in with EVERY order. To put in perspective what a bigger site like Ebay or Amazon can do, I sell 300-400 items a month on Ebay, the website pulls in around 15-20 sales. That is with Adwords campaigns, we've been in print in a magazine and featured in a blog. You think you're working hard now? I work 14 hours a day at least five days a week plus another 20 hours at the weekend. I've been doing that for 18 months. Building a business without investment, especially in your chosen profession is hard and it takes a lot of commitment. You are best of using Amazon if you can to build some cash and if you can't then you are going to need £1000's to get stock.
Someone also mentioned the Distance Selling Regulations. If you aren't compliant you can get into serious trouble with trading standards. If you are not displaying an address you are not compliant. I haven't looked at your site because quite frankly I don't have the time and I came across your post and felt compelled to reply, but your site needs to look and sound professional. Mine is on my profile if you want to take a nosy, however even now it is very much still work in progress.
Good luck!
