So, last day of work in 2015. It feels good to know that I have 16 days of rest now!
Money wise, it has been a little bit spendy. Not sure yet how much, but I reckon quite a bit. Will tot it up over the weekend.
Pressies all bought, except for one or two.
Returned some shopping today, so that means quite a bit of my credit card bill is being paid back to me. All good. I have done ok with the pressies, good balance between being spendy and thrifty. I got my mum one special present and the rest are just bits and pieces.wanted to do that for mum for ages, so just went for it. Think she will be happy.
I have been so busy, my room is a tip.
L2 has moved out, I'll do room inspection tomorrow morning. L1 leaves for Xmas tomorrow, and I don't fly until Monday morning, so 2 days of bliss. I'll enjoy it very much, I'm sure!
Pay day is on Monday, which is very handy! Can't wait!
Other than that, not much to report in terms of money. Still to be calculated.
Dating update is that I have been on about 5 dates with a guy who seems nice, but I struggle with the attraction. Not that he's unattractive.
I went on a new date on Tuesday and Thursday. Both nice guys, but I was only really attracted to Thursday's guy. I seem to only attract very effeminate men, what is wrong with me?!
I am about to make a big mistake also, and see my ex on Sunday. Still undecided about that. I am far enough removed now that the pain is subsiding. I think I'm a masochist for wanting to see him again.
Maybe I should see Thursday's guy who I like and who, it seems, like me.
Practical things to sort out first though. Carpet cleaning tomorrow morning and then I'll have to do a bit of a clean of the house in general.
Then I'll enjoy spending Sunday here. Lovely! Can't wait!!!
I will go and read everyone's diaries tomorrow, as it's so late now. Goodnight all.* * * Catriona's Credit Card Countdown * * * from -£16k to debt neutraldom - for my debt diary click here

Only a brief update from me.
Looks like we have a new lodger from Feb onwards. She seems lovely and much better organised than the last one.
In sad news I had to finish it with a very very good man I've been dating. There was just no chemistry there for me. I'm gutted, as we could have had a good life together, he was very kind and we would have got on. What can you do. I have tried hard for the last 2 months.
Finances suffered over Xmas, but now with two lodger's again, I should be able to be back to normal at the start of February, and start bringing that figure down again!* * * Catriona's Credit Card Countdown * * * from -£16k to debt neutraldom - for my debt diary click here

Hey Rosy,
Happy new year to you too! It's going to be a good one for us all on here, I know it! The hardest thing is to begin, we are now heading in the right direction.

So, New Year 2016!
Exciting new beginnings, and hopefully much good to happen for all of us.
I'm not really into New Year's resolutions, but I do hope everyone on here keeps their motivation up and that we achieve what we set out to do!* * * Catriona's Credit Card Countdown * * * from -£16k to debt neutraldom - for my debt diary click here
