Not sure if relevant but they do state that level access needs to be available and you say your drive slopes, not sure if they could use this to say that the access wasn't level? depends on your interpretation of level i suppose.

I don't think any tarmac would cope with the metal from a truck being dragged over it - after all, that's pretty much how they remove existing tarmac for resurfacing.

Yes, the supplier would need to compensate you - if appropriate. The supplier may then seek compensation from the courier, but this is not your concern.

Thank you for all the responses. I have arranged for the original driveway company to come and assess and quote for the damage.

I have contacted the supplier and so far they have ignored me. Once I get the quote for the damage I will pursue the supplier.
