Are you paying by Direct debit?? If so, I'm astonished that they are billing you so frequently unless a meter reader has been? I'm on the same tariff but was last billed in August 2012;furthermore MyAccount online tells me next billing date is June!!0

There is no 'normal' with EDF on this tariff. My Account says that my next bill will be in 6 months. But I usually find that inputting meter readings will generate a bill within a day or so, so that's what I do every 3 months. The catch here is that this may then produce a wildly over-estimated DD change, so you have to message them to ask for it to be reduced to £x, which they do without demur. Because the CS reps know the system is carp too...No free lunch, and no free laptop

They'll produce you a bill every time you submit a meter reading (providing there is at least about a month between submissions)the_sherrif wrote: »Hi guys,I am a bit confused with EDFs billing period.I pay by monthly dd and I am on the April 2014 blue price promise.Although I pay monthly it looks like i am billed every 6 weeks is this normal.0
