I've started checking the headers of some of the spam I'm receiving and I'm copying headers from one of them below.
My question. My email address was in the "from" field and the "to" field, but return path as to some yahoo address that nothing to do with me. Has my email address been compromised - i.e. been used for sending spam?

I would advise that you edit your thread to disguise your real email address e.g. myemail@yahoo otherwise you'll get a lot more spam.0

That ISN'T my yahoo address, I assume it belongs to the spammer. I replaced any instances of my email address by [my email address in here]. Anyway, I've altered the yahoo address too, just in case it was some other poor unsuspecting soul.0

Any thoughts on this one anybody?0
