Longleat Safari Park or Chessington World of Adventures?

Hi all!
I am just looking for a few bits of advice, my fiance and I are great lovers of animals and parks such as the ones mentioned above!
We have never been to either and hoping to go during April. Which would you recommend for us? Where have you been and enjoyed? Also, if we went to Chessington one week and Longleat the next or vice versa do you think it would get boring or are they both quite different?
Thanks

Also, curious as to whether people would recommend Longleat Safari Park or West Midlands Safari Park?0

I have been to Longleat a couple of times and I absolutely loved it! Definitely recommend! The more one gets to know of men, the more one values dogs.0

Longleat so much better than chessington. Very few animals at chessington and all in cages/enclosures. Its just a bog standard zoo
Longleat is a whole day of stuff to do, with the safari park, animals, house, gardens, etc.0 -
I have been to both and in my opinion they are worlds apart. Longleat is great for the historic house, beautiful grounds, fantastic safari park and other small, fun attractions. Chessington has some animals but I think ppl mainly go for the theme park rides. Both are good though. Could you squeeze them both in?0

With Longleat, beware of the monkeys, they are keen car strippers.0

Longleat is a much better zoo chessington is mainly a theme park. Knowsley is good as a safari park too. Chester is very good for a caged animal zoo , Welsh Mountain Zoo is a little gem for me as its not too big or expensive:cool: hard as nails on the internet . wimp in the real world :cool:0
