How do I get a credit card refund for non delivered goods?

Hi,

I bought a curtain pole and rings online. The rings turned up but the curtain pole didn't. I've tried emailing the company, they don't respond. I've tried phoning the company, they tell me to leave a message or email. No response. It's a company in Edinburgh so not overseas. The cost was £86 so under the £100 limit to ask credit card company to act. What can I do?

Thanks.

I had something undelivered for £22 and Vanquis did a chargeback for me, they never mentioned a £100 limit.

I have had card companies do chargebacks for £20 or so before. Just raise a disputed payment case with them, and give them the information they require.

£100 is for claims under section 75.
    No limit for a chargeback - [STRIKE]just a typical fobbing off[/STRIKE].

I think you are jumping the gun Grumbler... :D

The OP makes no mention of contacting the card provider only the company.

    OP.
    Ring card provider.
Nice easy Non-reciept chargeback (30) This will require paperwork, as its only a partial chargeback and you will need to provide proof of the item costs.
So I hope the invoice seperates the rings & the pole.

You do have to allow 15 clear days between debit date and date CC action chargeback, but given they need to send you paperwork call them ASAP.

You are right. I misread the post.
My apologies for the "fobbing off" bit.
