Hello i am cash and asset rich but want to take out a buy to let mortgage. I am femalle and 72. Can i have a mortgage at a good rate taking everything into consideration.
My estate is probably worth 1.75 Million and i want a mortgage to the value of approximately 140,000.
I can't find any help online and would very much appreciate some advice on this matter.

See a broker. I can think of at least one BTL lender with an expiry age of 90 for experienced landlords, 75 for others.

Basically, yes. There are BTL providers who will accept you (term to age 90 yrs) subject to minimum income requirements.0

If I were 72 .... with an estate worth that much .... I'd be looking to sell up, buy a nice warm manageable place ... and blow about £1million on some nice cruises/activities and a bit of fun.0
