notice of intended prosecution first timer!
Options
Hey guys,
Just looking for a bit of advice really with regards to a notice of intended prosecution i received.
I do not remember even being out of the house on the day of the 'offence' but was going 47 in a 40 zone ( I know, my bad)
Since it is my first ever offence do you think they will let me go on a course and not have points added to my license?
I am really worried as I already pay 1 grand insurance ( under 25 female) but have been driving 2 years (i am 24). I dont think I could afford to have a car if the insurance hiked up anymore!!
Please help

It looks like you might get the course offered but get on down to pepipoo.com, go to their speeding section, fill in the template and see what they say.I'd rather be an Optimist and be proved wrong than a Pessimist and be proved right.0

You will more than likely be offered a course. However your first set of points dont appear to cause that much of an insurance increase. But hope for the course anywaySome people don't exaggerate........... They just remember big!0

Likely course, they should offer it to you by post once you've filled in the paperwork identifying yourself as the driver.
In theory, shouldn't increase insurance premium however apparently some insurance companies have started asking about attendance on these courses.0
