Halifax Loan - PPI?

Took out a Halifax Loan over the internet in November or December 2011.
Although I am now on an IVA and the Loan has been sent to a company to dealt with it, how can I find out if there was PPI added on as I was never sent any paperwork for this loan!?
Plus, can I claim the PPI whilst under an IVA and use what I get back (if there is PPI) to help get the debt down?
Thanks.

The reclaim section of the forum has a setp by step guide to find out if your loan had PPI and help you consider if you have a reason for claiming it was missold.

How do I find out though Halifax address for their Collections Department?
Thanks.0 -
Surely, if the op says they took it out over the internet they would have actually chosen to buy it, so a miss buy rather than a miss sale.make the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.

Halifax had stopped selling PPI with loans well before November 2011 so you would not even have had it offerred to you if you applied online at that time. I work for a loan company - I do not post to represent the Company view or to promote their products or services. So, presumably that answers the oPs question that they probably didnt have it then.make the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.

was not spellkaster a windup poster from before?Don't put your trust into an Experian score - it is not a number any bank will ever use & it is generally a waste of money to purchase it. They are also selling you insurance you dont need.0

If this isnt a wind up, you will no doubt be asked by your IP to allow them to investigate potential PPI claims in any case ~ not that that means you cant do it yourself of course, but whatever it generates the IP will put into the dividend for your creditors any way.
There's no harm in doing the preliminary stuff as per Tixy's post ~ as long as whatever reply you get you copy and send to your IP so that if, in fact, there was no PPI on the loan, they already know and dont f*nny about delaying your closure at the end.LBM July 2006. Debt free 01 Sept 12 .. :T

Or just phone Halifax loans and ask them rather than going through a PPI claims process?
Instant answer rather than having to write letters and wait for a reply? Phone number is on the website.
3 poss phone numbers depending on your loan type. All explained on the website. I work for a loan company - I do not post to represent the Company view or to promote their products or services. Please be nice to me!:eek:0
