This company snares customers with an offer that appears to be good value and has featured in these pagaes before.
They are still up to their old tricks and have entered 2013 more agressive than ever.
Both me and my 90 year old father have bought promotional models from them...
Then the trouble starts.
We have both lived through 9 months of absolute hell and my father has lost a lot of money thanks to Atlas Editions.
Please read the following because it was our salvation thanks to this forum.
I wrote this letter to them and got an immediate and satisfactory reply thanks, to Martin and his team.
Further to you recent eMail where you allege non return of an unsolicited item your company sent tome.
This is now a criminal/fraud matter.
As I hold certified proof of return posting for both items, the Royal Mail will beexpediting a full investigation.
If you wish to maintain your stance, will you please provide a WRITTEN Reply tome, NOT E Mail. at my contact address and categorically state you have notreceived the item. As both the unsolicited fire engine models were returned atthe same time and you acknowledge you have received one, the Royal Mail requirea full description of the missing item, ie the Green Goddess or the Leyland fire escape.
In view of your companies reputation I have been keeping full records allcorrespondence. I have done this in view of information about Atlas Editionsposted in Martin Lewis 'Consumer Expert Forum' publicising similar customerexperience and containing copious warnings about your companies’ dubioustrading ethics.
DO NOT send me warning letters, demands for payments and duplicate invoices. inan endeavour to rack up additional charges.
Do send me a final statement of account showing a zero balance please.

Thanks for your suggestion Blunther. Sadly it was wrong. I am not an IT techie! The problem was when I performed the Ctrl/v then Ctrl/v the text from my word doc. to the subbmision field in MSE screen the text appeared ok on the screen but when word processed to the web page return bar ops had not carried over. Can you help me how do I get over this?0

I paid Atlas Editions' invoice for £1.99 for the original model, fortunately by cheque, and now I have CCS Collect claiming no trace of having received it and asking for a copy of the paid cheque, which I'll send as soon as I receive it from my bank. They're now claiming £18.99.
Has anybody else had the same experience? Any advice appreciated!0 -
I buy a few bits from them and always send a written cancellation with the cheque I send to pay for the first model. I'm usually fine but for the last 2 I received further models and had to phone them up to point out that if they had the cheque in payment then they also had my cancellation request was stapled to the cheque.
On both occasions I have received further models, all sent back to their freepost address with proof of posting. On one occasion I did receive a final reminder saying that my debt would be sold on, but a quick call to them pointing out that I had received unsolicited goods, returned them with proof as requested- and they apologised and I heard nothing more.
I don't trust them, but I like some of their models and will risk it but always pay by cheque- there is no way I am giving them a card number- ever!
My advice - phone them, they use a UK call centre and I've always found them helpful.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. Hi, I've had a problem with them, didn't receive the goods, and cancelled, but then had the item delivered but they took my payment details off so I'm 3 days late paying
Does it affect my credit rating etc? (thats what im most worried about)
Only just noticed and am going to ring them in the morning
Thanks:money::snow_laug:xmassmile:rudolf::santa2:_party_:money:0
