With regards to comments about buying incorrect items and claiming cashback (especially with TCB)...

...strictly speaking, we should only be buying items from Tesco and not Tesco Express. They're two different divisions; one being a supermarket and the other a convenience store.

    ;)
I think one of my failed ones may have been a Tesco Express purchases.

I really need to upgrade my mobile phone and am slowly narrowing down the options. Any particular comments on using these cashback apps on iPhone vs Android? Of course it won't be the dealbreaker decision but it would be helpful to know if any problems or advantages apply to one or the other type! Thanks.
I have been using Shopitize a bit on an iPhone, and it is very pernickety.

The other obvious thing is that it costs to have a smart phone and a data allowance; if you have to pay more for this then you may be wiping out the value of the cashback.
  • I've never messed about doing that buy the stuff come go e scan all the relevant ones then snap the receipt. £8.50 cheque received and £1.90 built up towards bext times

Another shopitize question...they don't make it easy do they.

I purchased two items on offer with Shopitize, have scanned and uploaded receipt (twice). My account now shows both receipts with a green tick, but the amount say £0.00 and the retailer says 'Retailer Not Recognized'
Is that normal, what should it say, will the amount get updated at a later date?

EDIT. Havenow received an automatic e-mail from Shopitize titled - Have you snapped a receipt without an offer?

I haven't submitted the wrong receipt for any offer nor will I try to as I wouldn't want my TCB account suspended but I don't think purchasing a Creme Egg easter egg and submitting the receipt is any different from those who twisted the T&C's and purchased a pack of 10 fish fingers instead of the stated 12 or 14 pack.

I also don't think it's any different from those who took advantage of the recent BS and Walkers crisp glitch. There will always be someone who will bend or break the T&C's.

It is probably best if we didn't have another debate on the thread though :)

please can you all just stick to the posting and discussing of the offers and not discuss how to abuse, or argue about abusing, the system. Thanks.

On my home page it shows one figure
    "Your next payment
    £13.05
to be sent to you in the next payment run"

    .activity shows click snap figure
    Total of filtered Activity (GBP)

    16.70
and then you get the normal activity on tracking.
    then summary shows in year

    Year 6 0.00 12.25 25.44 0.00 0.00 37.69 0.00

Quidco send automatic payments. Their payment runs are usually the 1st and 15th every month.
