It's the same with glitches, should we knowingly take advantage of them, could put people like BS out of business etc
I guess we all have to make our own decisions as there are always people who will make the most out of something by being deceptive.
I'd like to see those who try and claim for items not listed not get paid and have their accounts suspended by TCB. When they're out of pocket they may just think again !!0 -

Yes, you can.0 -
Can't see this listed on the Google Doc:-
24 pack of Weetabix in Tesco Express for £1.25, making it 25p after £1 cashback from TCB
Thank you!
24 pack of Weetabix in Tesco Express for £1.25, making it 25p
Can confirm I found these in my local Express store.... No yellow half price label, just white and £1.24. Might be worth getting a member of staff to price check an item for you if SEL says a higher amount as they just may not have updated it.0 -
I'm sorry if this has already been asked, but I've just popped into Asda to get some Happy Egg co and Colgate toothpaste and decided to make use of Quidco/TBC. However my recipt just says 'toothpaste' and 'eggs' and doesn't specify brand or amount. Will it still go through?
I did put some Creme Eggs through a couple of days ago and that said 'Easter Eggs' and that has been paid, but I wasn't sure if it was obvious that they were Creme Eggs because of the price (2 for 85p).Best 2021 wins: 48 bottles of cider, £200 John Lewis Vouchers, £100 Currys vouchers0 -

Yes, you'll get paid, all receipts vary. ASDA ones usually have the product barcode next to the item so they'll know what you've bought.0 -
Has anyone else received an email from Quidco like this?
"To say thanks for being a Quidco member, we want to help you out with your validated cashback claim(s).
Although we're waiting on a retailer to pass on what you're owed, we'll pay out on any outstanding validated claims
if you make one purchase with any retailer by Sunday
31 March.
To be eligible, you must opt in using the button below."
I have two outstanding claims from clicksnap which have been pending since 26 Feb. It hasn't taken so long before.
Don't really know what to make of the email - are they saying that the claims will be delayed unless I make a further purchase via Quidco?0 -

I like to think of myself as an ethical money saver/CBer/freebie hunter when it comes to these things.
If a glitch comes up that I know I could use because I NEED the products/offer, or if I could place the item aside until an event like a friend/family member's birthday then I'll go for it. But I'll only ever take one of each offer I find useful, personally because I live alone and anything else would be greed imo. Similarly I may opt to bag things I can give to other people if I know they'll have use for it - such as the 2 free dishwasher tablets posted recently (I don't have a dishwasher, but OH's parents do - every little helps and all that jazz).
It's a bit like foraging for berries, only ever take what you'll use and leave plenty for othersDebt free since 2014 - now saving for a mortgage deposit :heart2:
This time I'm on top of it! We live and learn :coffee:0 -

With regards to comments about buying incorrect items and claiming cashback (especially with TCB)...
...strictly speaking, we should only be buying items from Tesco and not Tesco Express. They're two different divisions; one being a supermarket and the other a convenience store.:grouphug:Official MSE canny forumite and HUKD VIP badge member

I really need to upgrade my mobile phone and am slowly narrowing down the options. Any particular comments on using these cashback apps on iPhone vs Android? Of course it won't be the dealbreaker decision but it would be helpful to know if any problems or advantages apply to one or the other type! Thanks.0
