I think this thread is great, thanks! :) Wouldn't have submitted receipt to quidco, but thanks to this thread I saw that 2 items actually qualify on there and TCB! :)

Quidco click and snap dont count for the first £5 annual fee

    http://www.quidco.com/help/1320/

Does my ClickSnap cashback count towards my annual admin fee?

No, any purchases you make will not be retained as part of your annual £5 admin fee, it's all yours!
  • all completely separate. you'd need to set up both TCB and quidco accounts and also download the shopitise app for your phone - don't think shopitise can be done on computer.

quidco and tcb also both have apps, so can either snap and upload direct on your phone, or take photo with digital camera and upload via computer, or take with analogue camera and scan in photo to upload via computer.

NB quidco take the first £5 you earn (although not sure if this applies with their click snap - may just be on online purchases) while TCB don't take any comission at all from you. i personally don't bother with quidco.

some products have cashback on both TCB and quidco so enter the receipt into each for max c/b. shopitise seems to have different products.

with TCB, you can claim payout as soon as each transaction is 'payable', but with shopitise, you have to accumulate £5 worth of c/b before they will payout (via paypal). TCB have variety of payout options, inc paypal and BACS, but if you choose amazon vouchers you get 5% extra.

most of the offers are only valid from certain supermarkets, so check the t's and c's for each offer to see where valid.

still need to check price after c/b to see if cheapest product - the cashback is usually on branded goods and even after c/b, the own brand versions are usually cheaper. best deals are usually if the supermarket already has a discount on the product, which when combined with cashback makes it supercheap (e.g. the crunchy nut cornflakes for 80p as already on a near-half-price roll back at asda)

I don't think quidco allow you to upload on the app ( haven't seen it on mine )
Shopitize will also send a cheque which I opted for as I refuse to pay fees to PayPal. I have contacted them and they say if enough support then they will offer bacs in future

I wish Shopitize would allow upload via pc there app is buggy and often crashes tried it on two different mobiles made by different companies using android

Also another feature would be helpful is that you can print a list of offers on too A4 paper so you can take it with you rather than I do now have to write it all down what I may buy

    That's good to hear.

What does it say on your receipt?
  • excellent - might start making the effort to do quidco now then!

But you'll still be charged a rolling fee won't you so you'll end up when ever you ever happen to get any normal cashback having that taken straight off. That's how I think it will work

I uploaded a receipt to Quidco on Thursday and there is no sign of it in my recent activities. How long does it take to show or should I upload it again?

Are you specifically looking in Clicksnap activity or regular cashabck. There are 3 separate activities, one for online/instore, one for mobile, one for Clicksnap. The links to each page can be found on the RHS of the main activity page.
