I had a colour analysis and -----

Yesterday as a treat for my birthday my OH gave me a colour analysis. I didn't know what to expect but it was brilliant. I know it was expensive but I do think it is going to save me a lot of money because it really does put a focus on what really suits you so no more impulse buys or got to have bargains which are never worn
Have you any experiences like mine:j :j :j :T :j :j :j

Yes, it was years ago, but I really enjoyed it and still have my 'book' to refer to.

I am going to a evening demonstration in a couple of weeks, and I can see me booking in for a shape/style analysis.

Have you gone through your wardrobe and checked what are your colours?

That was so amazing yesterday I felt so empowered. I went through my wardrobe and sorted it out. Before I have felt really guilty getting rid of stuff just cos I wasn't sure about it. Now I am going to wash it and put it on ebay. Funny enough all the things I got rid of were the wrong shades for me and I had never really known why they didn't work for me. E.G 3 blouses in shadesd of pink but I was never sure which looked best -- now I know. Also I thought everyone could wear black but it was so draining--- so no more buying black trousers and skirts, I just know it is going to save me money especially bargains that are too cheap to leave behind but you dont know if they are really you!!!

I've always wanted to get my colours done, I think it would make a difference in confidence and assurance in you too. How'd you find out where it was done or should I say how'd such a nice husband know to do it lol

    What a lovely gift!

    I've been Money Tipped!
Had mine done 15 years ago and was so impressed, that I subsequently had all three of my daughters done too. In the end, you save so much money and time as now I can walk into a fashion department, take twenty seconds to glance at the racks and know immediately if there is anything there for me.

I knew I was wearing my 'right' colours when suddenly, in the depths of winter, friends were saying "my, you look well - have you been on holiday"?

It is expensive, but a real investment in me, in my view (not that I've given up my dearly loved jeans, sloppy sweaters and comfy jog bottoms on a day to day, gotta do the garden or wash the floors basis!)

Hi yes I was lucky . I definitely feel more confident already and just know I will will think about what I am chucking on I really think it is not about going out and buying new clothes (( although I will enjoy doing some of that)) but Just making the right choices about what to wear. Also it was so interesting about blending colours. I would never have dreamt you could blend such beautiful shades. I have never been very confident about accessories but you get a swatch in a little wallrt with all your best colours and I will definitely be on the loookout for colourede shoes scarves, bags and jewelrey.

It was amazing because I asked my OH to be there and I think he was a bit sceptical and thought it was just one of those girly things but as he draped the materials and made choices he could actually see which lifted my skin tones, eyes ect and was really interested by the end so I know that the clothes he buys me from now on plus undies will all be spot on. I am so chuffed-- made me feel brighter that loads of money being spent on a night out ot meal.

Sorry a wrong key there. I meant it has made me feel much brighter than going out and spending a lot of money on a night or meal out. Isn't amazing how all the threads are so positive

I had mine done last year by Colour Me Beautiful and was a Warm Spring. It's made such a difference and now i'm not afraid to wear colour, whereas before i tended to stick to lots of black and white. I highly reccommend having it done.
