TV changing from colour to black and white

Thank you for all the suggestions we started to go through them this afternoon. Taking all the sockets out didn't work, neither than putting it back to factory settings, however quite by chance my son unplugged the tv then plugged it back in and the colour came back. Sometimes it is the simplest of solutions.

I was just going to say this lol. I have an Alba tv also and I was all ready for buying a new tv when I unplugged it from the mains waited a couple of minutes then when I plugged it back in voila the colour was back. This happens now and again don't know why though.
