Cat pooing outside door

I do hope you aren't going to add to the LB Croydon's animal cruelty figures, including those for prosecutions, and you are joking. Although watching an animal die in agony due to a malicious act isn't the sort of thing I would ever see fit to joke about.
In any case, whilst you are concerned about cat poo, the infestation of rats in your garden (or house) sounds like something you really should be somewhat more concerned about on the grounds of hygiene. The council deals with rats for free, as far as I can remember. Just call Taberner House and ask.I could dream to wide extremes, I could do or die: I could yawn and be withdrawn and watch the world go by.Yup you are officially Rock n Roll

Excuse me jojo, FYI I don't live in croydon. If you bothered reading the post the cat left the rat with her poo at my door. I would never hurt a living creature & resent suggestions I would.
I would not have asked for advice from my forum fellows if I intended to hurt the cat!!. Next time READ what someone writes BEFORE you jump in, though its a credit to you that you feel so strongly. I am sure if you were a owner who would never let her cat foul someones garden & expect them to be over the moon about it.No one said it was gonna be easy!0 -
Don't mind Jojo, she's on a self righteous jig obviously....good luck with your unwelcome visitor, they are a nightmare to keep away once they've chosen a place to poo...0

The little madam dug up a hole where i put some big stones, looks like the big water guns have got to come out, next time anti-freeze - only joking!!
Please do not even joke about using anti-freeze .......
I actually find that really offensive and don't understand how anyone could even think that would be funny - especially posted on a pets board!
If you'd known anyone who has lost a pet to anti-freeze poisoning, you'd know it's an horrific way for them to go ... and joking about it .... seriously?:mad:Grocery Challenge £211/£455 (01/01-31/03)

Not taking your child to Mayday any more then? Fair enough. Maybe there's another user called Shay's Mum that did, then. Sorry. My mistake.
Jokes about antifreeze arent funny. I don't make jokes about child abuse or rape for the exactly the same reason.
In any case, wherever you live, there are obviously rats in your garden or your house or the cat couldn't have caught any. Cats can't be bothered carrying prey far if they aren't bringing it back home.
Call your local council and get the rats sorted, tell your neighbours and that might solve your problem because poisoned rats are dangerous for any animal, fox, dog or cat to eat, so they might keep it in for a bit.
My cat wouldn't foul somebody else's garden. He can't climb the garden wall because he's got stupid hips and back legs. He can't stand up after sleeping without falling over twice and regularly falls over where he stands. He has a set of steps from IKEA so he can get up to the window. And he still falls off.
If the gormless twit did do it, I would go and clean it up because he is my problem. As it is, his leavings are solely my problem and likely to remain so. I would also be glad he was doing something more cat like for a change.I could dream to wide extremes, I could do or die: I could yawn and be withdrawn and watch the world go by.Yup you are officially Rock n Roll

The anti freeze was actually mentioned in this forum when i did a search on other people despairing of cat poo, in bad taste yes, so sorry, its despicable & vile that people would resort to such matters.
But here's the thing, its annoying how some cat owners can manage to train their cats to use litter trays, whilst others shrug their shoulders & hide behind the law stating their cats are free to come & go & poo in other people's gardens!. I suppose i should accept the lovely gift she left for me in a more gracious manner
JoJo where i take my child is no concern of yours, try googling patient choice, last time i looked you can use any service in the NHS. Judging by how much time you spend on mse, i suggest you spend your time living in the real world, instead wasting your time trying to suss my virtual one out. BTW sorry about your cat being poorly though, have had family dogs that were not well & its heartbreaking.
Thank you for all the constructive advice given here, i really appreciate it, for the rest of you if you feel so strongly about people getting annoyed control your animals its a simple as that.No one said it was gonna be easy!0 -

You don't have to train a cat to use a litter tray, they use it instinctively from an early age. Even kittens know what one is for. If all owners provided a litter tray it would cut down on how often the cat poo's in the garden. I have three cats and four litter trays, but I still find an odd poo now and then outside. Or maybe it's someone elses cat that does that.
I laughed at the use of the word blatantly as well. They don't think, oh, I'll do it here because it will annoy someone. :rotfl:
