Sounds about right. They can get away with charging a fortune for it. Can't find a link for southern but NG charges are here http://www.nationalgrid.com/uk/Gas/Connections/GasServices/MoveMeter/DomesticSingle/WhatNetwork0To2mNgReconNew.htm and fall into that sort of ballpark figure.0

SGN is who can do a move, however if the main does not need moving a gas registered engineer can do itDon't put your trust into an Experian score - it is not a number any bank will ever use & it is generally a waste of money to purchase it. They are also selling you insurance you dont need.0
