Had an email a week ago thanking me for switching. I was told my application is in progress. But nothing since.

Is this par for the course ??

    Yes, it typically takes 4-6 weeks for a switch to go through.

    Expect a 'sorry you are leaving' letter in the post from the existing supplier in the next couple of weeks
