Casio Pro Trek watch no longer works, Any ideas?

Bit of a long shot but they may be a watch mender out there.

I bought a Casio Protrek watch a few years ago. Does everything like altimeter, temp. compass, even tells the time!
Not anymore. None of the buttons work anymore, but that just happended over night, so I don't think it's mechanical.
It tells the time still but no functions work. Battery? just knackered?

Thing cost a bundle so it's a shame for it to quit after 18 months.

Have you checked what they say about expected battery life?

You might find that the functions all eat battery whereas just keeping time takes little battery power. My kids have had various basic digital watches where the battery has only lasted 18 months so probably your cheapest bet is to try a new battery.

Might just do that, But it's a solar powered rechargeable battery which I thought would not need replacing...
