Where are you flying TO?
If it's within the EU (execpt Gibraltar, Canary Islands etc), you can't buy Duty Free goods anyway.
There is a Duty Free Shop at Edinburgh airport.British Ex-pat in British Columbia!0 -
I'm flying to Turkey. I know that there is a duty free shop it's just that I seem to recall that last time I was there they did not sell cigarettes or tobacco.0

Can't help with the selling of cigs/tobacco at Edinburgh airport, however if you are going to Turkey, will be much cheaper there than in the UK even at duty free. Am sure that you can buy ciggies on arrival at airport in Turkey if you are desperate!0

Surprisingly, cigars are one thing that are not cheap in Turkey which is why I want to get them DF before I go.0

Peat, just spoke to hubby who flies from Edinburgh abroad frequently. He never buys ciggies, but says that there is a duty free which sells them, not on the main concourse as far as he can remember, but at the far end (?) near to Gates 1, 2 & 3 - near to a big seating lounge area and a coffee bar, if that's of any help to you.
Also, from what he can remember, you buy the stuff, they wrap & tag it and then you pick it up just before boarding plane.
Maybe worth giving the airport duty free a call?0
