Scratched the Courtesy car

I got a courtesy car while mine is repaired. When the guy came he tried to sell us a load of insurance for it but we didn’t get it, he said it was extra insurance which covered scratches and stuff. Well I scratched the car up scrapped a bollard…. 

What do I do? Where do I stand? I need help asap. I’m going to find out if it can be repaired. Please helppppppppppp!

What is the courtesy car for?
If its for accident repair which you are having because your have made a claim on your insurance, then the chances are your insurance is also insuring the courtesy car. So the same cover is applied... You may have to claim again.

When they delivered the courtesy car, did they fill in a plan of the car showing damage and did you sign that and get a copy?

If they DIDN'T, its for them to prove that the damage wasn't there beforehand.

If you did sign something like this, I'm afraid you have two choices:

    1) make another claim on your insurance - as the other poster stated, it is almost certain that the courtesy car will be covered automatically by your car's insurance.
    2) get the cheque book out.

How much damage are we talking about anyway? Minor scuff or metal damage? If it's just a scuff, get a bottle of T-Cut Scratch Remover (comes in a tube) and try and rub it out.

Commercial rubbing paste is available at every body shop, you may eb able to scrounge some of that from some where. It reaches a little deeper where T-cut cannot. It can't put paint back on though
