Which company to go with for 4 months?

I've been with npower for 9 months, worst customer service ever. 9 months is how long they took to pay cashback from topcashback. They took 4 months to set up the account, and are still refusing to send bills on the dates they said they would.

I've only used 1,000 kWh of gas over the past 9 months and about 1,500 kWh of electricity (I use a small electric heater which is sufficient, only needed it for the coldest 4 weeks).

I will be leaving the UK for a few months at the end of July and will have no address for that period. I predict I will use about 600 kWh gas and 600 kWh electric between now and July.

Now that my £100 cashback is paid I am keen to switch ASAP. I have asked in the other thread about the DD discount - but I don't have any confidence they will get their final bill correct and I'd rather argue with them from the UK than from abroad.

Should I just forego the DD discount? I've paid £250 so far this year and I calculate that I've used £350 (they won't tell me how much they think I've used), so the cashback should cover the final bill.

Would Ebico be the best company to go with and get another £30 from MSE?

For the amount of energy you plan to use, I wouldn't worry about it.
(just ensure you are not on a daily standing charge tariff)

I don't think you will get any cashback switching to Ebico
