I will try again !So bought this phone online last week at the BT shop it was out of stock so had to wait, yesterday the phone arrived and I set it up and then went to the BT site to download a manual, the phone that arrived yesterday has 25% off £69.99 down to £49.99 I'm very unhappy about this. I can simply send the phone back on BT return policy and then order another one but this will I'm sure be hassle I'm going to speak to BT shortly and see what they say was after a bit of advice on here ?

So what you are actually saying is that since you placed the order and paid, they have reduced the price by 25%?
That's just tough I'm afraid; had they increased the price by 25%, would you have been happy to pay them another £20 after the event? I think not. So why would they refund you a price reduction after you agreed a contract to purchase at the higher price?
The only exception to this would be a company like John Lewis who will price match within a defined period after sale, including against their own prices.
As you say, if you want you can return it under DSR and repurchase at the lower price. No free lunch, and no free laptop0 -

Seriously?
