  • Just to warn you that thy are not much like sausages and are quite fatty. If you have eaten them before fine but do not want you to ruin a lovely casserole.

I have eaten them before after putting them on the freezer. In fact I am forever doing that.

I would agree they are not much like sausages in taste and texture, but they arent as fatty as real sausages!

I would eat them, so long as they're cooked thoroughly.

You would definitely be able to freeze them again once cooked too.

I'm vegetarian and think LM sausages are disgusting, a weird texture that sticks to the roof of your mouth. Quorn ones are much better IMO.

I agree about the Linda McCartney sausages - I prefer Redwoods.
  • By "not suitable" it probably means that the texture will be affected when thawed, not that they will kill you.

I know lots of non-vegetarians who like Linda McCartney sausages. I can barely remember what meat tastes like, but don't think they're meant to be a direct substitute and have a taste all of their own.

You could also use them to bulk up a chilli.
    They are an EYESORES!!!!
