Shared Living £30 a week on Bills
I currently live in shared supported living and we pay £30 each a week to cover all the basic utility bills (we have to pay internet/TV/phone ourselves splitting the cost)
Would you say that's cheap or is it too much and would utility bills be cheaper then £30 a week on my own? The computer is on most of the day to leave Skype on incase my family calls me, use washer, dryer once a week and have a nightlight to sleep. I don't like having radiators on I get paranoid and buy bottled water.

It doesn't sound unreasonable, but then that depends on the circumstances. Size of property, how many you share with, size of room etc.
I doubt there are many people on here that get by with less that £120 a month for all utilities, electric, gas & water. The standing charges would gobble up nearly half of that before you start using any services.
I live on my own and definitely pay out much more than £120 a month for my bills.0 -

I would expect there are quite a few people who get by spending less than £120/month.
My circumstances for example - mid terrace house, gas and elec is £700/year (accurate using meter reads and 2.5 years of bills), water is going up this year to £260/year so for both, it would be approx £80/month.
Usage - gas central heating (thermostat set to 20 and only on for an hour or so in Am, few hours in PM), washing machine 3ish times a week, tumble dryer once. Cooking via gas (with the occasional usage of kettle and also microwave to defrost pre-cooked food), TV on for a few hours per evening, laptop or PC used regularly in evenings, DAB radio on for several hours a day.
To the OP - you may find that your bills could possibly be cheaper on your own, but it depends on a lot of factors and is definitely not a certainty.0
