Costa del Dole - hundreds apply to lob lattes at yumummies

1) Camp is indeed excellent for adding coffee flavour in cooking. I seem to recall it became popular as a coffee alternative during the war/rationing??
2) I suddenly feel incredibly decadent like some sort of idle rich for drinking a few skinny lattes each week.
3) our Costa (in Surrey) has predominantly British staff. There's an Italian fella but I categorise him in the same way as French waiters in adding to the credentials through his mere nationality than in the general EU expansion/recession thing.
4) (In true MSE style) when we go to Costa we share the big size which works out much cheaper than buying two except they put 3 or even 4 shots in it so we ask for just 2 shots as that's quite enough even between us. I don't know how some people can cope with so much caffeine.0 -
