                    Hello,
We have got 2 cats, 14yo female moggy and a 2yo tomcat. Both neutered/spade and healthy although she's tiny and he's a ginge monster. At the moment we feed him Royal canin fit 32 and she is on Royal canin 12+ food, both supplemented with about 3 tins worth of wet food a week.
This is not a cheap diet particularly and while zooplus have got the 200 extra points on and I need to put an order in is there anything they should be having instead please or a cheaper biscuit version?
Many thanks
Claire, Willow and Ferno

I buy Porta 21 from Zooplus.
It's ~£25 for 10kg and is grain free.
It usually lasts my 3 at least a month0 -
For our 2 adult cats we use the Royal Canin FIT 32 also. Had previously used IAMS and Science Plan, too. I think the vet recommended. The issue with dry food is ensuring the cats get enough fluid - kidney problems can result. I would have a look at the water content and pick a brand that they do like. We also get sachets of wet food (to ensure moisture) and feed them once a day hals a sachet each. They enjoy that but know it's once a day and still eat their dry.
Big bags best value, too of course, keep them well sealed for the above reasons!0 -
I've been given mine this brand recently:

Composition looked good to me and he seems to like it, they send free samples if you want to try.
I also give him 2 pouches of wet food a day, to help with fluid intake (he doesn't drink much and has chronic constipation)0 -
What is "spade"? Or do you mean spayed?0

I now have visions of my cat digging in my garden!! I meant spayed!
Thanks for the advice, I think I will try the all pets with the free samples, thanks for that. They do drink a fair bit but that's between them and under the radiator. We also have a stream behind our garden which is fresh clear water so they have a constant supply.
