PPI included in "transactions" on statement

Hi, I know a lot of people are saying that PPI would clearly show up as a separate payment on credit card statements but I read the small print of my Halifax 1 card and it says that transactions could include any insurance payments? Could this be PPI?

That is correct. The payment would typically appear in the list of transactions. some do put it near the interest charge for that month.

Yes, but as a completely separate transaction, not included within another transaction. So if your interest payment is shown, that is only the interest payment, it does not include PPI.

Yes, it's only on SOME loan repayments (single premium)that the PPI could be included as part of the interest.
I admire the OP's tenacity but it looks increasingly likely that he didn't have PPI at all, as evidenced already by this long and ill-tempered thread here;

I you've got PPI then it will show up as a separate transaction, that's what you're looking for rather than within transactions but I'd hardly call it "clear", it's often so nondescript that they might as well have used white ink on white paper, few would give it a second glance if they didn't know what to look for, if you're anything like me you'll have a ton of other things on your statement that stand out a lot more then the PPI if it is on there at all.

So you have to look very carefully, when I was first made aware of it, it took me a while to work out what the PPI was on my statement so I can understand why many miss it, now, without going into any personal details can you see any other charges at all that you don't know what they are next to or below or above balance, interest etc, anything with a weird, funny name that you don't know what it is??, if so then it might be that, if not then you haven't got it.

I don't - it is simply wasting everybody's time by repeating its accusations in the hope that we believe it.

If an assertion is untrue, it does not become true simply by repeating it.

It still needs evidence and it still has none.

Actually, most of my statements show up with three separate interest charges. Any comments on that?

Actually, I have paperwork from Halifax that reads "Type of Insurance: Premium"!

Put one of your staements up that has a balance [devoid of any personal info - just show the transactions] then we can point out if there is or is not PPI on it.
