What doesn't make sense is how they got a refund. How did Ebay/paypal know you hadn't posted it?

Any why was buyer angry sale was cancelled?

You sure you didn't refund them?

nothing wrong with setting a pay reminder for a week after if you havent recieved payment. you shouldnt threaten bad feedback and seller shouldnt have to sell to someone who negs.

Buyer waited ages to pay then went in with demands and then did a chargeback - horrible buyer

She is at it again. I relisted the item at the weekend and today someone bids out of the blue and sends a message word for word exactly what she sent me when she asked me to sell to her for the starting bid (which I didn't, I let it run). It had odd wording so unlikely two people talk like that.

So I decide to check up on the new bidder, both from exactly the same place....

Auction ended and another blocked buyer. I think I am just going to leave off relisting until she gets a life!
  • If you sell on ebay and want to be sure your customers are happy, you need to communicate with customers by personal messages not rely on automatic ebay produced ones

You'll find that these days this is exactly what eBay offers, cut out all the nonsense and simplify the processes so sellers can get on with actually selling stuff. No one needs to have their resources limited by manually sending messages about payment, the automated system works a treat and 7 days is long enough for payment to be made. The conformation/dispatch emails have been standardised to bring them in line with what is offered by most retailers and eBay now send a payment reminder after 2 days (unless you turn it off) and allows the system to automatically open a UID after 4 days (at the earliest) and to automatically close it as well if payment isn't made within another 4 days.

Focus should be getting paid orders out rather than chasing buyers to send money for something they apparently want!

The other day I posted this (which was removed and a Yellow Card issued against my username) yet there is nothing wrong with it except ebay sellers don't like it:

    Hi

I can't see how, following the chain of events how it does not meet theri policy:

Buyers aren't allowed to demand, by threatening to leave negative Feedback, neutral Feedback, or low detailed seller ratings (DSRs), any of the following:

A full or partial refund
A return that falls outside applicable legal requirements and conditions stated clearly in a seller's listing
    • Goods or services outside of the transaction
They requested a full refund which was sent, therfore they do not have the right to leave the feedback under eBay's own policy. I would phone them and ask them to go by their own guidance.

In relation to sending a non-paying reminder after 7 days some people might need to remeber that thisis the time that they have to cancel so amused to see the respopnse. Byers also need to reflect that fees are paid which can be frustrating with this type of situation.
