Am in agreement with above advice.
What Anti Virus/Internet Security do you have? If none, after killng this with the programme suggested above, download this:
http://windows.microsoft.com/en-GB/windows/security-essentials-download
-and run it.
Then This:

- and run that as a FULL SCAN. (Patience required here - could take a while.)
That should find any "leftovers" from the virus. You did exactly the right thing by not signing up or buying this garbage. It's the lesson we all learn, sooner or later - check every download and download site, before actually using it. And you must get a GOOD Internet Security for your PC. I recommend either Bit Defender or Kaspersky, but there are many others. Do not buy direct or download from the websites, use Amazon, they are cheaper and you can get bargain packs for more than one computer.
If you do have an Internet Security/Antivrus, it is obviously flawed.I think this job really needs
a much bigger hammer.

No need - quick scan will suffice.

...i do not have an antivirus program (but i must say that i am careful with the sites i visit and till now i did not have any problems)...
Although it pays top be "careful" which sites you visit, almost any site can be compromised, possibly resulting in malicious software being downloaded and installed to your computer - even normally safe and reputable sites. Also this one americanpendulum.com/2013/02/07/disk-antivirus-professional
It doesn't tell you much really - It's just an affiliate site pushing Enigma's Spyhunter. Though legitimate, it has a chequered past - Once being listed on Spyware Warrior's "rogue/suspect" anti-spyware program list.
