Outlook.com slow

Is it just me or is outook.com (formerly known as hotmail.com) painfully slow compared to other email service providers?

It's undergoing a massive back end upgrade to Exchange 2013 so will be a bit painful till the end of Feb

If I navigate to https://www.hotmail.com and sign in with my <name>@outlook.com address then it seems fine.

Going to https://www.outlook.com and signing in with <name>@outlook.com does, as you say, seem very sluggish.

I have no idea if it is just coincidence or there is an actual difference between hotmail.com and outlook.com once you have actually signed on to your account.

If the question is of a general nature (rather than is it slow at the moment) then I personally don't find it to be problematic. My browser has my outlook.com mail/calendar/skydrive/contacts open for most of each day and its certainly very usable.
