Outlook.com slow

Is it just me or is outook.com (formerly known as hotmail.com) painfully slow compared to other email service providers?

It's undergoing a massive back end upgrade to Exchange 2013 so will be a bit painful till the end of Feb0

If I navigate to https://www.hotmail.com and sign in with my <name>@outlook.com address then it seems fine.
Going to https://www.outlook.com and signing in with <name>@outlook.com does, as you say, seem very sluggish.
I have no idea if it is just coincidence or there is an actual difference between hotmail.com and outlook.com once you have actually signed on to your account.0 -

If the question is of a general nature (rather than is it slow at the moment) then I personally don't find it to be problematic. My browser has my outlook.com mail/calendar/skydrive/contacts open for most of each day and its certainly very usable.0
