Alitalia on line check in ?

Hi; just looking for advice from people with regular experience of using the Alialia online check in.

Does it open 24 hours before a flight, say 1630 Friday for flight at 1630 Saturday?

Or would it be open the Friday from 0001 and all day?

Their website is not very clear on precise time.

Thanks in advance for any help.:)

Nobody with any sense does! The website says you can check in the day before, typically Italian and unhelpful but it suggests at any time the day before, I think it is just a question of trying and seeing. I just hope your seats were cheap and your expectations low, then you won't be disappointed

Thanks; yes were very cheap for one way to Buenos Aires especially as when I booked the luggage allowance was 2x23kg each. My expectations are not high, and have read all the reviews, so am aware they ain't in the 3 star or above bracket.

Yes, thank you..............they have an ongoing huge backlog of work due to some route cancellation chaos they have dropped themselves in. Huge waits on their enquiries line, all chargeable - no thanks.

As Alan says, looks like try and see on the day.
