Help! Ppi submitted to lloyds dec 2011 - still no decision!!!!

I submitted my claim to Lloyds TSB in December 2011. After several phone calls and e mails they confirmed it was on their system and was being dealt with. In June 2012 after getting nowhere! I telephoned to be advised that my claim HAD NOT BEEN RECEIVED!!! I submitted a further claim in June 2012 and each time I telephone I am told it is under review. Today (1 year and 2 months on) I was told the same thing! Before I contact the Ombudsman can anyone assist with who I can make an official complaint to at Lloyds TSB about their PPI Department. I cant seem to locate any name or contact details on line.
Any further help or suggestions would really be appreciated.

You were advised to write a complaint last April.

Did you actually fill in a form and send it off? How did you submit your complaint?Non me fac calcitrare tuum culi0 -
lol, see your post from last year.
but you have made an official complaint, if you have no response in 8 weeks you can refer it to FOS, not sure why you want to complain about that. it sounds like you have missed your 6 months to refer to FOS too.0 -
Please don't shout at us. Whatever your grievance with Lloyds TSB it is not our fault.0

Should be ok for the FOS if they haven't received a full and final response....Non me fac calcitrare tuum culi0

I agree.
My normal recommendation is to either fax a complaint to a firm (because you get an instant receipt) or to post it and get proof of posting. Proof of posting is preferable to recorded delivery partly because it is free but also because Royal Mail does not always get a signature. If it does not then that is evidence of non-delivery whereas proof of posting is normally taken to mean it arrived two working days after the date of posting - so the eight weeks start then.
If, nine weeks after that, you have heard nothing then you can go to FOS enclosing copies of both the complaint and the proof of posting or fax receipt.
Either way, in this instance, taking the matter to FOS seems to be the most sensible option for the OP - although they wait will no doubt continue, probably into 2014.0 -
I was in the same boat,
I submitted a claim in April 2012 and was getting the same response as you,
Last Monday i emailed the CEO of lloyds TSB on Antonio.Osorio@lloydstsb.co.uk
The same day I recieved an email from the PPI department saying the email I sent to the CEO had been forwarded to them and I recieve a response in 10 working days.
Today I recieved a phone call to ask more questions and was told I would recieve a final response in 7 days.
Fingers crossed0
