Republic Refunds

I ordered some clothes online from Republic and decided I wanted to take some items back to the store. However by the time I got round to it I found out they were in Administration.

I paid by credit card but the order only came to about £90. Do I have any rights to get a refund rather than just an exchange of credit note for the store?

Change of mind no.

Only right would be if the goods were faulty or not as described.

When did you receive them? You might be able to return them under distance selling regulations depending if you notified them after 7 days of receipt. Not sure whether this will be applicable as they are in administration

An interesting point, however I suspect a DSR return would fail as the co originally selling them is in liquidation and therefore the OP would join the queue of unsecured creditors.
