Quote for 100m2 wood flooring

Hi
We need 2 floors in the house completely reflooring (each 50m2). We've had a quote for engineered unfinished oak (6mm) at £40m2. This seems around average, but the company is charging £4k for fitting, sanding and varnishing. With VAT this comes to close to £10K for 100m2 of wood floor. Does this seem excessive?!
Thanks.

We're just having our kitchen and hallway done. £15 per sq m for fitting and £550 for the wood plus cost for latex, dpm, underlay and beading (can't take off skirting unfortunately)

Funnily enough I'm procuring wood flooring for a client of mine similar to what your having done, I'll find out for you tomorrow. Bear in mind as you probably know Oak is not cheap.Save Save Save:o
