    Depending on the severity of his behaviour, it might be worth your daughter's friend making a Police complaint.

    I think this is potentially much more damaging to his case than the ownership issue.

    She definately needs to keep those texts and find a way to download them.

    She also needs to go to the police and make a formal complaint abotu his predatory behaviour, harassment and threatening behaviour.
