Imediate issue of cover note

Does anyone know of a car insurance company that will email me a cover note or full certificate immediately on purchase of the policy?
A banker is someone who lends you an umbrella when the sun is shining, and who asks for it back when it start to rain.

What do you need it for?

If its for tax, Post Offices only accept orginals and not print outs.

tax can be done online and doesnt need a cover note. I doubt any will email it as cover notes are usually signed by someone and have to be in original form.

i got one from swiftcover. Yes it is for tax, but according to swiftcover they will not issue paper documents ... you have to print out your own documents.

They do warn that the post office may not accept it but to be honest i have a copy of my current certificate for another vehicle and i cant really see any differences.

True, but you can't drive the car until you receive the tax disc.
