Hi All,
I have been living at my current address for the last 2 years and registered on the electoral roll. But I had changed my Capital One (my only credit card) to my office address.
Wish to apply for Amex (primarily for the foursquare promotions).
So, is there any way that I can specify a 2nd 'current' address on a credit application (which will be my office address in my case) ?
Looking around on the internet - it appears something like this is possible:

Thanks

You should have all of your active personal accounts registered to your current personal home address, the same place as you are registered to vote.
Your work address is not your current abode.
When you changed your address with Capital One to your work address this will have created an address link so even if you don't specify your work address on future applications the people you apply to will still see the account, but the fact it's registered to another address will make them ask questions - e.g. further ID and proof of income - or even cause them to decline the application.
At the very least it would hurt your credit score.
If you are a company director and hold credit cards in the limited company name then these can be registered to the company address.
Change your address with Capital One (and any other accounts you hold) to your home address, wait six weeks for it to update with Experian, then apply for AmexCashback Earned ¦ Nectar Points £68 ¦ Natoinwide Select £62 ¦ Aqua Reward £100 ¦ Amex Platinum £48
