Builder not paid supplier. Please help?

Yes, but they have little effect. These are called Romalpa clauses but are only really effective against items held in stock and where a company enters into some sort of insolvency. They can then be put under the administrator's nose in order to get the property back rather than becoming an unsecured creditor.
No chance whatsoever of a supplier being able to enforce against an innocent third party where the goods have, presumably, been incorporated into the works.0 -
how did the supplier know your address if you paid the builder and the builder bought the goods? Oh doh just realised they probably delivered them to your house0

If they return then call the police if they refuse to leave or act agressively.
To send bailiffs around would require a court order, if they try to obtain one it means you have the opportunity to defend the claim. It would b a simple defence 'we have never hired x to do any work for us and therefor shave no contractual relationship and do not owe them any money'.
But they have no rights what so ever to demand payment from you or take the goods away. In fact even contacting you is a shoddy way of dealing with it. Frankly whether they've been paid or not is not your problem.0
